The pub is synonymous in British culture. Buying rounds of your favorite tipple with a group of mates is one of the most common ways to socialize across the land. Drinks and drinkers, pints and rounds, as well as the pubs and bars they are served in are all individual but connected and collective at the same time. However, for many groups of drinkers the collective imbibement of specific types of alcohol holds a special cultural significance and a deeper meaning than often meets the eye. Most drinks also have a collective name often associated with ritual or place and this book attempts to discover the route of those often long forgotten collectives names. 

In an a-z fashion, it attempts to enlighten the drinker as to the cultural significance of their chosen drink.
